this is my blog.

I have always feared that my, for lack of a better word, obsession with clothes comes across as materialistic, shallow, and self-absorbed. Over the past year and a half I've worked on ignoring this self-created thought. Through outfits, I release my always cramped well of self-expression and I get to feel different and outside of the norm by mixing patterns and colors some people would shy away from. I admire the fashion born in the era of the 70's and 90's, and try to mimic the style of these eras. I'm using this blog as a place to share my outfits, where I bought the clothing pieces, and how cool they make me feel. Rad.

Recently, I did a photoshoot with two new friends of mine, Lydia and Olivia. We went out to an open field right at golden hour, with the aim of creating a naturalistic vibe. In terms of the clothes, since that's what my blog is going to focus on, I opted for them to wear earth-toned greens. Olivia wore a loose fitting, olive green dress and Lydia, a green sweater with light washed jeans. The green in the clothes and environment pulled out the blues of their eyes in such a gorgeous way. It's important to ensure that your models feel comfortable in their clothes, so that comes through in the photos.
